Nature Select chickens are fed only the healthiest quality natural grains with the perfect amount of vitamins and minerals to ensure Nature Select chickens are the healthiest choice for your natural diet.

The all vegetable diet. Let’s talk a little more about the Nature Select vegetarian diet. Our chickens are fed a specially-formulated feed mix that’s about 64% corn and 27% soybean meal. When we say, “You want soybean oil with that?” they all step right up. This natural oil is the protein and energy replacement for animal fats in their strictly vegetarian diet. Specifically, their diet doesn’t include any animal by-products. And they eat well. Each chicken gets about 12 pounds of feed as it grows to maturity.

No antibiotics. Nature Select is The Natural Chicken and we keep it that way by not introducing any substances into the program.

If any chickens become sick, our veterinarians remove them from the Nature Select program so they can receive the proper treatment. However, these chickens are never returned to the Nature Select farms.

Nature Select chickens never receive hormones, preservatives, or artificial ingredients. The U.S. government strictly regulates all feed additives and they prohibit the use of added hormones or steroids in poultry. Even if it were allowed, we wouldn’t choose this for our chickens. That’s what Nature Select chicken is all about - natural, healthy choices.
